In summer 2023 we had our first ever official sponsored event: the Static Monsters World Championships 2023, held at The Albany in London.
Static Monsters brought strongmen and strongwomen from all over the world to compete, and we had a stand there for the whole weekend. A big thank you to Christine and Lee for helping us set it up.
Two days of static strength
Day 1 featured the Women's u52.5kg, u62.5kg and Masters classes, the Men's Adaptive classes (neuro, seated, standing and one arm), and the Men's u70kg and u80kg.
Day 2 featured the Women's u72.5kg, u82.5kg and Open classes, and the Men's u90kg, u105kg, Masters and Open.
The athletes, the crowd and the organisers were amazing. Well done to every competitor who travelled from different parts of the world, and thank you to the staff, organisers, sponsors and vendors who made it run smoothly.
